Wheeler, Hoskins, Realmuto lifted the Phillies against the Cardinals 4-0

PHILADELPHIA (AP)-Zack Wheeler threw seven innings of four-hit, no-run ball, and Rhys Hoskins and JT Realmuto lengthened their home run as the Philadelphia Phillies outscored St. Louis. Louis Cardinals, 4-0.
The Phillies have won two of three games in the series against one of the teams they are chasing for the National League wild-card spot.
Since Rob Thomson took over as interim manager after sacking Joe Girardi on June 3, Philadelphia has been 20-9 and has made the Cardinals five games in wild-card standings.
The teams will meet for four games next week in St. Louis.
