Houston police have arrested a third suspect, Darius Sonnier, 25, in connection with the 2018 fatal shooting of 75-year-old That Huu Le. Sonnier faces capital murder charges for his alleged role in the incident, which took place at a grocery store parking lot on Blackhawk Boulevard.
The arrest comes years after two other suspects, Johntiz Robertson, 23, and Reginald Hawkins, 22, were also charged with capital murder for their involvement in Le’s death. On January 20, 2018, Le was approached by two individuals as he exited his vehicle.
Following an altercation, Le was shot multiple times, and the suspects fled the scene in a gold-colored sedan. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Le tragically passed away from his injuries. For more updates on the case and the investigation, visit Fox 26 Houston.

On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, Sonnier was named as the third suspect in the case.
He is currently in federal custody on unrelated charges but has now been charged with capital murder for his alleged involvement in the shooting.
Authorities believe there is a fourth, unidentified individual still at large who may have participated in the crime.
