Teens Suspected of Crashing Cars at Blue Mound Carvana-NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

Two teenagers who are members of a group called the “bank roll gang” are facing charges of car theft and organized crime, Blue Mound police said.

It happened Saturday night at the large Carvana used car lot in Blue Mound. Police received a call that someone had tried to steal cars.

About a minute later the officers arrived. They found a pickup truck colliding with a security gate.

Officials say 18-year-old Ethan Gaither is behind the wheel. He was arrested nearby. Andy Sanchez, 18, of Arlington, was later arrested.

The search for the other two suspects continues.

Police say Sanchez and two other youths drove to another exit in a stolen Dodge Challenger.

“They took a $ 60,000 car and smashed it and smashed it, just to get another car off the lot,” Blue Mound police chief Dusty Steele said. “It shows they don’t care.”

Officers are still searching for 18-year-old Aidian Pierce. Police said he posted a photo of himself on social media showing him the stolen Challenger.

Investigators say the teens are part of the “bank roll gang” active in the Arlington and Grand Prairie areas.

“Bank roll gangs, from what we’ve learned about them, do they go around and steal cars, rob cars, steal guns, and whatever they steal to sell them to make a profit to add to money on their ‘bank roll,’ ”Steele said.

Police are seeking public help to remove the remaining suspects from the streets.

“They were a lot armed as far as we could see,” the chief said. “They’ll run away from the police in these vehicles. They’ll do everything they can to escape.”

The stolen Dodge Challenger has not yet been recovered, police said.
