July 4 Hit-and-Run Involves 4-Year-Old Victim-NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

About 11:00 p.m. on Monday, July 4, Central Division officials were dispatched to the 2500 block of the Malvern Trail to discuss a major accident involving a car and a pedestrian. Fort Worth Fire Department and MedStar personnel also responded.

When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a car traveling west on the Malvern Trail and hit a 4-year-old female minor victim and the driver fled the area aboard the suspect. car.

The victim was transported to Cook Children’s Medical Center aboard a private vehicle. So far the victim’s condition is not known, but the wounds were stabbed to life.

Officers obtained information on the license plate of the suspect’s vehicle and the vehicle was located in the South Division where it was impounded.

The possible suspect has been identified but has not yet been arrested.

The detective of the Traffic Investigation Unit was notified and investigated this incident as a hit-and-run.
