Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) responded to the scene, where heavy smoke and flames were pouring from the garage of the home. Firefighters worked swiftly to control the blaze and managed to pull two individuals—a man and a woman—from the burning house. Both were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Sadly, DFR confirmed on Thursday that the man succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The woman remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), but her condition is not yet known. Authorities have not released the names of the victims.
